Nancy G.
Nancy’s path to teaching started on skis; she spent most of her young life as a competitive ski racer. The off-hill strength training in the gym lit a fire in her for heavy lifting that carried her through years of bodybuilding in college and beyond.
From there, her athletic life kept evolving: road cycling, a half Ironman, over a dozen half marathons, and yoga. These multiple passions led her to get an ACE Certified Personal Trainer license, backed by additional certifications in Spin, Zumba, Sport Strengthening, geriatric fitness, Nordic walking, Mat STOTT Pilates and Ashtanga yoga.
After stepping back to have children, she’s back where she belongs: in the studio, building strength classes that bring together everything she’s learned. When not in the studio, you can find Nancy climbing mountains; on skis, in hiking boots, or on a bike. “The body is the most amazing piece of equipment! I love pushing my own and encouraging others to explore the wonders of what theirs can do”
